Quartz Hill High School

Important Message From the Guidance Office

Dear Quartz Hill High School Parents and Students,
With the last weeks of the first semester upon us, we encourage every student to be diligent in regard to his/her academic endeavors. Semester grades are determined once our final exams are over on December 15thand those grades will be posted on transcripts as final grades.  To assist all students, Quartz Hill High School offers on-campus tutoring, a computer lab (Room 205—Open: Monday - Friday at 6:45 a.m., snack, and during some lunch periods), and the library (Open: Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday  6:30 a.m. –  5:00 p.m., Wednesday 6:30 a.m. –  2:30 p.m. Chromebooks and study rooms are available for student use).  Online resources for students needing additional help from home are available on each student’s PowerSchool account under: Live Tutors, also, see the many resources available at tinyurl.com/TheREBpage.  In addition, a student’s teachers can be contacted via email (see PowerSchool) and by phone—they can be very helpful in determining areas a student can focus on to improve his/her grade(s).  Guidance Counselors are also here to help students succeed—we are available for students on a walk-in basis before school, at snack, at lunch, and/or after school for assistance of any kind (as well as by appointment).  Please let us know how we can further guide each student toward success!
