Greetings Quartz Hill High School parents and guardians,
Quartz Hill High School would like to welcome and encourage you to participate in the California Healthy Kids Survey. The California Healthy Kids Survey (CHKS) is a powerful tool that can help schools and districts accurately identify areas of student and school strengths and weaknesses, and address related needs. It provides a comprehensive, data-driven, decision-making process to guide efforts to improve school climate, learning supports, and engagement, as well as identify and increase the quality of health, prevention, and youth development programs. Some of the key areas addressed by the survey include safety, violence and harassment, substance abuse, and physical and mental health. This survey is taken by students and staff as well as you, the parent, to gather a capture a balanced picture of Quartz Hill High School. We strongly invite you to participate in this informational survey, as we value your input on making our school a safe and positive environment for your student.

On November 2nd at 7:30am, we will be offering the PSAT to 10th and 11th grade students. This test is an assessment of the skills and knowledge essential for college and career. Historically, this test comes at a cost, but the school district is committed to providing your student with every opportunity to be college and career ready, so the district will be covering the costs for 10th and 11th graders.
