The Antelope Valley Student Recognition Program is hosting its annual 4.0 Student Recognition Dinner on April 27, 2017.

Are you a student who is graduating this year with a 4.0 GPA ? To see if you qualify check the list posted in Activities or the Career Center beginning Tuesday the 17th of January. This event is First-Come, First-Serve as seating is limited. Click the title here for the flyer with details and registration information. The deadline to register is February 15th or until seats are full. NOTE: You will need to upload verification of your grades so please see your counselor to have them send you a PDF of your transcript.

UCLA - Get College Ready! For 8th-11th grade students.

On Saturday, January 28, 2017, UCLA Strategic Partnerships and Community Engagement will be hosting a special program called Get College Ready! targeting 8th-11th grade students and their parents/caregivers. This college knowledge event will inspire students to strive for college and learn what it takes to Get Ready.

There will be workshops for students and parents/caregivers about college admissions, financial aid, student panel, etc. The event will be held on the UCLA campus and will be FREE. It is a great program to bring a group of students to enjoy. Parking and lunch provided for guests, but they must register individually through the on-line registration site (www.admission.ucla.edu/events/GetCollegeReady ).
